He was told that leaving SA’s top soapie would be career suicide. He did it anyway. Then rumours did the rounds that his Centurion home had been repossessed and he was broke. He laughs them all off.
We meet up with Seputla Sebogodi at the Sophiatown Bar Lounge in Newtown, Joburg, to find out what he’s been up to since he walked away from Generations. It’s clear he’s happy and definitely not homeless.
“I’m making more money now than I ever did on Generations and I’m doing better than ever. I feel I wasted a lot of time by spending six years on the soapie and I should be a lot further in my career than I am. But I’m not complaining because I’m in a very good space right now.
